Development of space model for curved surface machining
A space model is used for describing the surface shape and generating the cutting path of cutting tools in parts manufacturing. A good space model determines the quality and efficiency in surface machining. This research proposes a new space model, Inclined Z-map model, witch inclines the coordinate to improve the lattice accuracy for a surface description. the method has been developing in a computer simulation, it is expected to be an effective way in curved surface machining when applied it on the real CAM systems.

Machine tool control of simplified multi-axis milling
The control of simultaneous multi-axis milling is very difficult for the processing of the relation between tool orientations and surface position of a workspace. In fact, with limited times of tool orientation changes, a satisfied machining can be realized for the same complicated shape. The method is named as simplified multi-axis milling. This research handles the problems of decision of tool orientations and the optimizations in simplified multi-axis milling.

Automatic design of cooling systems in plastic injection molds
Deformation, shrinkage, the kinds of molding errors are mostly depended on the cooling states and their variations in an injection molding process. How is a cooling system designed in a mold, will be the key point of a mold design. This study provides an evaluation method of the cooling state in a mold, and deals with the problems of automatic design of cooling systems.

Development of experiment system for press forming
The press experiment system includes the die sets designing with 3D-CAD, manufacturing with Mold/Die/CAM software NioSolid (developed by Computer Engineering Co.,Ltd.) and the remodeling of AMADA press 45T. The purpose of the development is to make a system for forming verification experiments, press testing of sheet materials and education of practice curse.

Product defomation problem in process of stereolithography
The difference of shrinkage timing between neighbor layers cause the deformation of products in the process of stereolithorgraphy. this research proposes using the compensation model, a modified STL data structure to reduce the shape errors.
